Belmont Elementary School's Vision and Mission Statements

Vision

Belmont Elementary School is the school where everyone wants to attend and work.

Mission

As a school community, we will:

* Teach every child as an individual
* Foster a challenging learning environment
* Increase community awareness
* Encourage each other and students to remain positive
* Promote self responsibility
* Establish positive relationships
* Make use of all available resources

Located in the North East corner of Prince William County, Belmont Elementary School serves the communities of Belmont, Belmont Bay, a portion of the US Navy Housing facility, and other smaller communities along the Northern route US 1 corridor. Named after the community in which it resides, Belmont opened its doors to students in 1968.

Belmont Elementary School is a relatively small elementary school compared to other Prince William County Schools. The school serves a diverse population as represented by its diverse attendance area.
